Mint Chocolate Cake Pop!

So i made these as Christmas gifts to my friends. First time making make pops, and I must say… this shit takes awhile. So much waiting for things to set before you can move on to the next step. This involved making chocolate cake (one-bowl by martha stewart) and then adding a cup of mint frosting to the crumbled up cake. After you’ve rolled all the balls, then you dip the sticks in white chocolate and stick em in the ball. After that sets, you take the cake pop and dip it in melted white chocolate and sprinkles! I hope everyone who had these enjoyed them!

Caramel Apple

For the official first week of autumn (last week). The cake is Martha’s applesauce spice cupcake with a swiss meringue caramel buttercream. Also, my coworkers found a dollup of caramel in the center of the cake. A pretzel stick and split jelly bean complete the look.

ps: sorry for the shitty photos lately.

Happy 60th Anniversary to Grandma and Grandpa Legge!

These cupcakes were made with my grandparents in mind. The 60th anniversary is that of the diamond and the flower for it is the thornless lavender rose. My grandmother’s favorite color is also lavender… so it was pretty obvious what I had to do. The cake is a honey cake topped with lavender flavored and colored icing. The rose is a swiss meringue buttercream. I wish I got better photos before they were eaten up, but oh well!
